Motorola today launched the Moto G5 Plus in India, less than a month after the company had first unveiled the handset at MWC in Barcelona. The Moto G5 Plus features a 5.2-inch Full HD display, an octa-core Snapdragon 625 chipset clocked at 2GHz, 3GB RAM, 16/32GB of storage space, NFC, FM radio, and a microSD card slot. The handset features a metallic build that gives it a very premium look and feel. Unlike its smaller brother the G5 though, the G5 Plus does not feature a removable battery. It does feature a 3000mAh battery with TurboPower30 charging. The major highlight of the Moto G5 Plus is its rear 12MP shooter. It features Dual Autofocus Pixels for fast autofocus times, large 1.4um pixels, and a f/1.7 aperture that should translate into the phone capturing some impressive photos. At the front, we are still looking at the same wide angle 5MP f/2.2 aperture shooter with display flash. Moto has launched the G5 Plus in two variants in India: 3GB RAM + 16GB storage and 3GB RAM + 32GB storage. The former is priced at Rs 14,999 while the latter is priced at Rs 16,999. The handset will be available exclusively on Flipkart in Lunar Grey and Fine Gold colors.
