It was announced earlier this month that Mortal Kombat 11 would be getting a new expansion on May 26, introducing new characters Fujin, Sheeva, and the legendary crime-fighter, Robocop.

Alongside the character additions is a slew of new story and epilogue content, game modes, stages, and fatalities — all in one package. You can see the video update below, which features gameplay from each of the three characters being added to the roster, as well as footage from some of the new stages:

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios have also provided further insight into each of the new characters and their abilities.

Robocop

The update is set to release on May 26 for all platforms, including PC, PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and Stadia.

Existing players can pre-order the Aftermath expansion for $40 and also get the “Thanks a Million” Johnny Cage skin. Newcomers can pick-up the Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath Kollection which features the base game, the Aftermath expansion, and previously released DLC for $60. A physical version will be available at a later unspecified date in June.

Additionally, the Aftermath + Kombat Pack Bundle is another option for $50.

Any player who preorders will receive the Eternal Klash Skin Pack at launch, which features three new character skin variants:

“Unbound Rage” Scorpion inspired by Mortal Kombat (2011).   “Son of Arctika” Sub-Zero inspired by Mortal Kombat: Deception. “Kori Power” Frost, a Klassic version of the Lin Kuei warrior.

Mortal Kombat 11 is currently available for PC, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Stadia. For more on Mortal Kombat 11, be sure to keep an eye on GameSkinny. To see why we said the base game was “(nearly) a flawless victory,” be sure to read our full review.
